A traditional herbal oil that has been used for centuries for skin burns and scars, rosehip oil is extracted from the seeds of the rose bush.

It is hypoallergenic and has the ability to moisturise particularly sensitive skin. Extremely high in essential fatty acids, rosehip oil penetrates the upper layers of the skin very quickly making it a good moisturiser. Extensive studies have shown rosehip oil to have a positive effect on stretch marks – it is known to both prevent and fade stretch marks. It is rich in vitamins, particularly C and E.

Being nutrient-rich, rosehip is often used as a nourishing tea during pregnancy.
