Held at the Olympia in London from October 20th to the 22nd, the Baby Show is the UK’s premier pregnancy & parenting event. Sponsored by Made For Mums, an online resource designed to assist and offer advice to parents and guardians, the Baby Show attracts tens of thousands of visitors and is held across three venues every year. The Baby Show Olympia is the third and final show of 2017, with the other two being held previously at the NEC in Birmingham and ExCeL in London.

There are two reasons why visitors would attend the Baby Show – shopping and advice. Each show plays host to numerous talks, workshops, and training events; including a Buggy Testing Track, an iCandy Fashion Show, and antenatal & postnatal classes by the National Childbirth Trust. Guest speakers at the upcoming event include Children in Need presenter, Fearne Cotton, child sleep expert, Lucy Shrimpton, and infant learning expert, Dr Robert Titzer.

One of the show’s most popular events is the British Red Cross First Aid Academy, which helps to teach parents and guardians what they can do to safely help their baby child should they happen to choke on something or burn themselves. These are just two of the possibilities the Red Cross cover in their first aid classes and whilst they are not able to cover every eventuality, there is an awful lot packed into each 30-minute session.

Unity Beauty Essentials At The Baby Show Olympia

Established in 2016, Unity Beauty Essentials is a luxury skincare brand built exclusively around the needs of pregnant women. The Pregnancy Collection is the debut skincare range from Unity Beauty Essentials and is made up of three vegan-friendly products; the Daily Body Hydrator, Intensive Body Nourisher, and the revolutionary Complete Duo Stretch Mark Cream + Oil.

Created from ‘The Superfruit of Pregnancy’ – the Indian Gooseberry, along with other natural ingredients such as avocado oil, coconut oil, mango seed butter, rosehip oil, shea butter and sweet almond oil, the Unity Pregnancy Collection is free from potentially harmful ingredients such as parabens, phthalates and sulphates. What’s more, each product has been formulated, trialled and tested with the assistance and direct input of Unity’s in-house cosmetic scientist, Kumar Pillai, medical doctor, Jessie Ke, and research scientist, Raj Nair.

The award-winning Pregnancy Collection by Unity Beauty Essentials can be found at STAND D4 at The Baby Show. Parvathi Nair, brand founder, will be attending the Baby Show as well. Parvathi is a new mum and a beauty-industry veteran who began building Unity Beauty Essentials when she identified a gap in the market for high-quality pregnancy products. She will be demonstrating how the brand’s hero product, Complete Duo, combines a stretch mark cream and oil together for the very first time to solve multiple skin concerns that arise during pregnancy.
